It can lead to work as a carpenter and joiner or you could seek additional qualifications, specialising in furniture making, shop fitting or interior fittings.
You could become self employed or work your way up to a fully qualified carpenter by taking an NVQ qualification.
Our construction courses are also ideal if you are considering self employment as a handyman, facilities person or builder.
