At STC, learner success is at the centre of everything we do. Regardless of which stage of their journey our learners are at, our mission remains the same: “to make a positive difference to people’s lives through meaningful education, training and careers advice.”
That is why learner feedback is so important to us.
Throughout each month, we gather feedback from our learners (across all divisions and sites) to better understand what we are doing well and where we can continue to improve. At each quarter, we convert this into percentages to share with you and our teams! These insights help us shape our programmes, strengthen our support systems and ensure we are meeting the needs of those we serve!
We are proud to share our July 2026 learner feedback results, which highlight the positive experiences learners are having across our provision.
Creating a safe and positive learning environment
One of the strongest messages from this month’s feedback update is that learners feel safe, supported and able to succeed (in line with the comments made in our most recent Ofsted report, back in 2024!)
100% of learners agreed that STC has created a safe, disciplined and positive environment.
100% of agreed that they receive the support they need.
100% agreed that they have access to the resources they need to do well.
These results reflect the dedication of our learners and our teams, who work hard every day to create an inclusive and welcoming environment where learners can thrive.


Delivering training that meets learner needs
We know that effective training should be relevant, engaging, and aligned to learners’ goals. Our feedback shows:
98% agreed that their course or programme meets their needs.
98% agreed that lessons help them build on their existing knowledge.
96% agreed that their course is preparing them for what they want to do next.
These results demonstrate our commitment to delivering training that not only develops skills, but also supports progression into employments, further learning or career advancement.
Constructive feedback and ongoing development are essential parts of the learning journey. We are pleased that:
97% of learners agreed they are given feedback that helps them improve
96% agreed they are well informed about their career choices and how to succeed.

As an Ofsted Good provider, we are proud of these results and are grateful to every learner who takes the time to share their experience with us. Behind every percentage is a real learner working towards a brighter future, gaining new skills, building confidence and taking important steps towards their goals.
