TWO WEEK COURSE
This course provides the opportunity to develop your skills in bricklaying and is ideal for beginners or those seeking accreditation in bricklaying.

- Health and Safety issues
- Understanding of how to select and maintain tools including gauge, plumb line, and level and how to use them safely and effectively
- Marking out – chalk lines and mortar lines
- Knowledge of bricks and blocks (and mixes, mortar and bonds) and how to lay them properly, including building a variety of low walls
Course Length: 2 weeks
Accreditation: Cskills L1 Certificate in Bricklaying
Funded Option: AEB if you are 19+ and claiming JSA, ESA or Universal Credit
It can lead to work as a labourer as long as you also apply for and successfully pass your CSCC card.
You could become self employed or work your way up to a fully qualified bricklayer by taking an NVQ qualification.
Our construction courses are also ideal if you are considering self employment as a handyman, facilities person or builder.
